Your first aura circuit
Make a crystal, lift aura, and turn its fall into useful power.
1. Start with White Aura
White is the steady starter color: it has ordinary weight and no passive loss.
Encyclopedia Aura: combine one White Aura Crystal with a Book.
Keep the encyclopedia nearby for the exact recipe cards and the live reference.
2. Build a small network
Craft Aura Nodes from eight Quartz around one Redstone; the recipe makes four. A Burning Pump uses a Node, four Iron Ingots, and four Magma Cream in the encyclopedia's shown arrangement.
Place a Node beside the Pump at the same height. Place another network block above the Pump, and arrange a route from that upper block down to a lower Node beside your machine. Keep every direct link clear.
Links run along the six cardinal directions to the first network block, up to 15 blocks away. Pumps send upward; they do not feed a row of neighboring Pumps sideways.
3. Add aura and fuel
Use a White Crystal on a Node or Pump to add 1,000 White Aura. A crystal dropped nearby also works. Drop a furnace fuel such as Coal beside the Burning Pump. Leave the Pump unpowered by redstone so it can lift aura.
4. Let it fall, then put it to work
As aura falls from the upper part of your network, it creates stored work power at the lower receiving block. Place a Cascading Smelter beside that powered block, then drop a furnace-smeltable item near it.
The colored aura stays in its own pool. Machines consume the stored work power generated by a suitable fall. A Node with plenty of aura can still have no usable power.
Read the circuit
- Look at a Node, Pump, Consumer, or Vortex block for its live readout.
- If nothing moves, check for a blocked link, an unreachable upper target, or redstone inhibiting the Pump.
- If the machine does not work, check stored power in an adjacent network block and valid work inputs.
- Keep the first circuit simple. Add other colors once you can follow White Aura through one complete route.
