Installation
Install the current Fabric beta and its required dependencies.
Requirements for Minecraft 1.21.1

The Energy API is bundled. You do not need to add it separately for the mod's own installation.
Set up your instance
- Create a Minecraft Java 1.21.1 instance with Fabric Loader 0.19.1 or newer. Make sure the launcher uses Java 21.
- Download Aura Cascade Reimagined 0.2.1+1.21.1.
- Add the matching Fabric API and Patchouli Fabric JARs to the instance's
modsfolder, alongside Aura Cascade. - Launch the instance. In a world, craft the Encyclopedia Aura with a White Aura Crystal and a Book.
Keep your versions together.
Do not put a 1.21.11 JAR in a 1.21.1 instance, or use Forge/NeoForge builds of dependencies with Fabric. These exact requirements apply to 0.2.1+1.21.1.
Upgrading & servers
Back up existing worlds before updating a beta mod. For multiplayer, install the matching mod and required dependencies on both client and server. Keep a separate instance for testing another Minecraft version.
If the game will not start
- Check the Minecraft version first, then the Fabric Loader and Java versions.
- Check that both Fabric API and the Fabric edition of Patchouli are installed for the correct game version.
- Remove duplicate older Aura JARs from that instance's mods folder.
- When reporting a problem, include the mod version, Minecraft version, loader, and the relevant error. Remove account details or tokens from logs before sharing them.
