Nodes & network control
Store, connect, and direct aura before it reaches your machines.
Link rules
A clear cardinal line connects to the first network block up to 15 blocks away. Diagonal placement does not make a direct link. An ordinary Node briefly previews its links when placed empty; transfer rechecks the geometry.
Redstone can inhibit outgoing transfer from an ordinary Node without stopping it receiving aura. Comparators can read node aura and consumer stored power.
Node reference
| Block | Role |
|---|---|
| Aura Node | Stores colors and transfers aura along eligible links. |
| Capacitor | Holds aura for a short outgoing burst. Empty-handed sneak-use cycles thresholds of 1,000 → 10,000 → 100,000 → 100. After a burst it blocks incoming aura for 110 ticks. |
| Conserving Node | Only sends to same-height blocks. |
| Black / Orange Manipulator | Accepts its own color. While powered, clears and refills that color to 100,000 every 20 ticks. |
| Fluxing Node | Exports stored work power to compatible external energy receivers. |
| Monitor | Reports readiness of the first adjacent supported Pump or Consumer. |
Reading a Monitor
The Monitor outputs redstone strength 15 for an empty Pump or a Consumer without valid work. It outputs 0 when the Pump has fuel or the Consumer has valid work. It is a readiness check, not a combined meter for everything stored in the network.
External energy
The Fluxing Node uses the bundled Team Reborn Energy API for compatible receivers. A shared energy API does not guarantee every machine from every mod works; check the receiving mod and the exact Minecraft version before relying on an integration.
