Pumps and Control
Aura Systems · From the in-game Encyclopedia Aura.
Feed a Pump
Burning Pumps consume dropped furnace fuel. Illumination Pumps consume adjacent glowstone or torches. Momentum Pumps draw power from falls. Projectile Pumps consume arrows, eggs, or snowballs that strike them.
Wire and Rhythm
Redstone Pumps follow a contiguous redstone-wire path, consuming powered wire along it. Their search stops at the first non-wire block. Alternating pumps vary their transfer rhythm over time.
Shape the Network
A powered pump pauses upward transfer. Black and Orange Manipulators refresh their reserve; powered, they still transfer Aura. Conserving Nodes send only at their own height. See Node Variants for Manipulator and Capacitor controls.
Power-Saver Signal
Place a Monitor beside one pump or consumer. It checks the first adjacent supported machine: an empty pump or consumer without valid work outputs 15; a pump holding power or consumer with valid work outputs 0. Ordinary Aura Nodes are ignored; it is not an aggregate-storage meter.
Pump Readout
The readout shows remaining eligible seconds; these pause without a target or while redstone inhibits the pump. Nominal speed is Aura per second at a one-block rise; actual transfer varies with color mix, height, and each color's mass and ascent.
Separate Pump Feeds
Pumps send Aura only upward; they do not pass it sideways to another Pump. For a row of Pumps, give each one a linked input branch from a lower node.
