Aura Colors
Aura Systems · From the in-game Encyclopedia Aura.
Color in Motion
Most Aura follows the common weight and flow. Black travels vertically only; Orange travels horizontally only and can set nearby nodes into a current.
White
White follows the ordinary weight and ascent rules, and keeps its charge between passive ticks.
Black
Black has zero effective weight. It travels vertically only, cannot be lifted by a pump, and does not generate power as it falls.
Orange
Orange has zero effective weight and travels horizontally only. Its transfer induces current in nearby Aura Nodes along that direction.
Red
Red Aura catches TNT within three blocks just before it bursts and Creepers at the brink of detonation. TNT lends a 200,000 Aura lift budget; each Creeper lends 50,000. Linked nodes above divide the budget by their rise, capped by the source node's stored Red Aura. The explosion effect is visual only.
Yellow
Yellow doubles its ascent boost, then loses stored charge during passive ticks.
Green
Green weighs twice the usual amount by day and half as much at night, changing its lift and falling-power balance.
Blue
Rain gives Blue a fourfold ascent boost; in dry weather its ascent factor falls to one half.
Violet
Violet grows in node storage, faster from smaller reserves. It dissipates at 25 or less and clears above 2,600.
